MICROBLADING TRAINING
Microblading is a cosmetic procedure used to create semi-permanent, natural looking eyebrows.
A manual tool and blade is used to deposit small amounts of selected colour pigment into the upper epidermal layer of the skin. The blade is made up of thin disposable needles that create fine hair strokes that mimic the natural brow hairs.
Our team of accredited and highly qualified Educators have travelled across the globe to bring South Africa the most cutting edge Microblading products and techniques available. We offer hands on support and guidance to ensure all our students achieve the highest possible standard of work. Microblading is a specialised treatment and cannot be mastered overnight. It requires complete dedication and commitment to practise to perfect the technique.

ONLINE PRESTUDY
Once enrolled, students will receive access to the online student portal where they will be required to familiarise themselves with the Microblading theory and training video tutorials, as well as complete an online bloodborne pathogens training. Students are encouraged to arrive at their practical training prepared with any questions they would like to ask their Educator!

PRACTICAL TRAINING
Students will attend 3 consecutive days of practical training. All theory and video content will be recapped on during the first day of class, and students will focus on perfecting their brow strokes on artificial skin, as well as brow mapping on a mannequin head. On Day 2 students will observe a live shaping and blading demonstration, before working on their first live model under supervision of their educator. On Day 3 students will work on a second live model of their choice and complete the full shaping and blading procedure. Students will be required to arrange their own models to work on.

THEORY ASSESSMENT
Post training, students are required to submit a theory assessment via their online student portal. This is an open book assessment and students can refer to their Microblading training manual where necessary.

CASE STUDIES
Practise makes perfect! Students will be required to practise and perfect their shaping and blading techniques on 5 models of their choice. Free refresher sessions can be arranged if students would like further guidance from their Educator whilst completing their case studies. It is up to students how quickly they complete their case studies, but we encourage them to take no longer than 3 months.

FINAL ASSESSMENT
Once the case study submissions have been assessed and marked, students will be booked in for their final practical assessment with their Educator. Students must be able to complete a full shaping and blading procedure with confidence, using the techniques as demonstrated in training.
